VietNamNet Bridge - Metro Cash & Carry Vietnam, the German invested retailer, which repeatedly reported losses over the last 12 years in Vietnam, has engaged in transfer pricing to evade tax, according to the General Department of Taxation (GDT).
VietNamNet Bridge – Businesses have to spend 500 hours a year on tax procedures, while individuals need to have 24 signatures to get a personal income tax refund, according to the General Department of Taxation.
Under the draft VAT law, more products would be subject to the 5 percent tax instead of the current rate of 10 percent.
