"The Little Prince", or "Le Petit Princedo", was written and illustrated by Antoine de Saint Exupéry. It was first published in English and French in the United States back in 1943. This year therefore marks the 80th anniversary of the birth of the story.
“The Little Prince” represents the third most-read literary work in the world and has been translated into nearly 250 languages, including Vietnamese.
The musical jointly organised by Hanoi Opera House, the French Embassy, and the French Institute in Vietnam aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1973.
