Four cabinet members will be queried about pressing issues of the National Assembly (NA) concern at a three-day question time of the 8th session of the 13th legislature, starting on November 17.

The four cabinet members include Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang, Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Thai Binh, Transport Minister Dinh La Thang and Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen.

On the morning of November 17, NA deputies heard Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc present a report on the implementation of NA resolutions on the question time.

Chairman of the NA People's Aspiration Committee Nguyen Duc Hien is to report the results of monitoring the settlement of complaints sent by voters to the 7th session of the 13th legislature.

Vu Huy Hoang is the first minister to answer NA questions in the afternoon of the same day. He will focus on clarifying issues related to support industries, market management, manufacturing industry development, production and processing of agricultural products, anti-counterfeit goods and smuggling.

Following Minister Vu Huy Hoang, Minister Nguyen Thai Binh will take the floor on the morning of November 18, responding to matters of administrative reform, the quality of the civil service, state apparatus control, a pay rise roadmap for State employees, personnel training and planning and civil servant downsizing schemes.

On the afternoon of November 18, Transport Minister Dinh La Thang will be questioned about transport infrastructure, the quality of transport projects, traffic safety and solutions for reducing traffic accidents.

On November 19, the NA will question Minister of Labour Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen about the current unemployment situation, especially for university graduates, solutions to job creation for workers, the quality of labor export; solutions for handling violations of social insurance debts, unpaid wages and the pay rise roadmap.

During the question time, some relevant ministers may also be asked to answer additional queries.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will be grilled over matters in his charge on November 19.
