“I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Vietnam national football team for becoming the champions of the 2024 AFF Cup,” Coach Park wrote on his personal page.
“I also want to express my gratitude to Head Coach Kim Sang Sik, the coaching staff, the players, and the officials of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). You have all worked incredibly hard and fully deserve this achievement.
Above all, I want to thank and congratulate the people and government of Vietnam for their unwavering support and companionship with the team over the years.
However, I believe it is time for Vietnamese football to aim higher than Southeast Asia. Set your sights on new milestones on the Asian stage. I believe you can achieve this. I will always support and follow Vietnamese football.”
A legacy of dedication
Since his departure from the “Golden Star Warriors” on January 31, 2023, Park Hang Seo has remained a steadfast supporter of Vietnamese football. His tenure brought numerous historic achievements, making him a beloved figure in the country’s sports history.
