Mr. Truong Dang Tuyen, director of the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism says that in recent years, the motorcycle for rent services for foreigners has been flourishing in Nha Trang City.

Dozens of motorbike for rent shops are set up along the roads such as Tran Phu, Nguyen Thien Thuat, Hung Vuong and Tran Quang Khai in Nha Trang. With VND100,000 ($5), visitors can rent a bike to drive around in the city center.

"Most tourists do not have a driver's license, are not familiar with the area and traffic in Vietnam, causing some pretty serious accidents," he said.

Therefore, the Department has asked competent bodies to quickly issue regulations to protect the safety of tourists as well as preserving the image and brand of Khanh Hoa’s tourism. The Department will also regularly check the operation of motorcycles for rent services in the city.
