Dung, 46, has many years’ experience in the electricity industry and project quality supervision and management, the local media reported.

In November last year, he was named board chairman at FLC Faros for the 2021-2026 tenure. Before joining the FLC ecosystem, he held several senior company positions. Dung remains board chairman and general director at Phat Dat Construction and Architecture JSC.

FLC today also picked Tran Thi Huong as new permanent deputy general director. Huong has served as FLC deputy general director since last year. Previously, she was general director at FLCHomes Real Estate Development and Investment JSC, chief human resources officer at Viet Hung Urban Development and Investment Company and human resources manager at FLC Group.

On February 27, Bui Hai Huyen quit as FLC general director while the Group’s two deputy general directors, Dam Ngoc Bich and Le Thi Truc Quynh, also tendered their resignations.

At its second extraordinary general meeting scheduled for this weekend, the FLC general assembly of shareholders will have to elect more members to the board to replace Bui Hai Huyen and Dang Tat Thang, who in July last year had also sought to resign from all his posts at FLC and its aviation business arm Bamboo Airways after eight years of working in the FLC ecosystem.
