According to the plan, two major transport projects at the gateway to Tan Son Nhat Airport will be officially opened on April 19: the T3 passenger terminal, with an investment of nearly VND 11 trillion (approximately USD 429 million), and the Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa connecting road, with a cost of over VND 4.8 trillion (about USD 187 million).
To facilitate travel, the city’s Department of Transport has issued detailed traffic flow guidelines for the area.
The Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa connecting road features six lanes for two-way traffic. Each direction has three lanes: the leftmost lane (next to the median) is for cars only; the middle lane allows motorcycles, cars, and buses; and the innermost lane (next to the sidewalk) is reserved for two- and three-wheeled vehicles.
