The Criminal Investigation Department of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police concluded the investigation and arrested five suspects linked to trafficking, illegal detention, and the sexual abuse of minors at the G7 karaoke and massage business, located in Thon 1, Hoang Ngoc commune, Hoang Hoa district.
The G7 complex, offering karaoke and massage services, is owned and operated by Nguyen Van Duc (born 1995), a resident of Hoang Phu commune, Hoang Hoa district.
Authorities rescued 58 female victims, including 12 minors under the age of 16.
To attract customers, the business owner employed various deceptive tactics to recruit female employees, aged between 14 and 30. The employees were required to wear revealing outfits to serve customers.
Once hired, the female employees were confined to an isolated area where their movements were strictly controlled and monitored.
The Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have charged and detained Nguyen Van Duc, Nguyen Van Tuong (born 2000), both residents of Hoang Phu commune, Hoang Hoa district, and Le Viet Cuong (born 1990), from Xuan Phong commune, Tho Xuan district, on charges of “Trafficking minors under the age of 16.”
Le Quang Thai (born 1998), a resident of Cac Son commune, Nghi Son town, was arrested for “Illegal Detention.” Meanwhile, Vu Doan Duy Khanh (born 2006), from An Thinh commune, Van Yen district, Yen Bai province, was arrested for “Sexual Abuse of a Minor Under 16.”
The case is currently under further investigation by authorities for appropriate legal action.
