VietNamNet Bridge - Singer Dia Frampton, the first runner-up of The Voice America 2011 is going to visit Vietnam on December 28, as a special guest in the semi-final night of The Voice Vietnam.




Dia Frampton was a member of the American rock band Meg & Dia. After coming second in The Voice US 2011, she started her solo career.

In the Blind round, with the song "Bubbly", Dia was selected by two judges Blake and CeeLo. She joined Blake’s team and ranked second with the song "Inventing Shadows" in the finale. In December 2011, she released the first album called "Red".

In Vietnam, Frampton will pay a visit to the HCM City Society for the Protection of the Disabled and Orphans. She will also share her experience with the top eight contestants of The Voice Vietnam before the semi-final night on December 30, in Ho Chi Minh City.

On the semi-final night, Dia will perform a song that she sang at The Voice America 2011 and join the top 8 contestants in another English song.

In the clip sharing her feelings with the Vietnamese audience, she said: "I've learned great news that I will come to Vietnam and perform in The Voice here. I could not believe it when a contestant of The Voice in America is invited to Vietnam to perform her songs. I cannot wait any longer to meet the Vietnamese contestants and visit a beautiful country."

Dia Frampton will return home on December 31.
