The “Flying Pieces of Silk” exhibition is an attempt by both lecturers and students at the university to celebrate the Year of the Rat.
On display are thematic compositions of students majoring in silk arts that have been selected over the past two years.
The artworks not only delve into the concerns of each artist but also demonstrate their improvements in silk painting techniques.
Curated by painter/lecturer Nguyen The Son, the exhibition is like an activity of studio opening, with an aim to introduce to viewers the professional creativity of the students and cultivate the young generation of artists’ interest in traditional silk painting.
This free-entrance exhibition runs until March 1. SGT
