On the evening of March 25, a representative of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) announced that Vinh Phuc Traffic Police had issued a fine to the man who permitted his young daughter to drive a car.

The incident came to light after a video clip was posted on March 24 by a social media account named "Binh Rxxx."

The clip shows a little girl, approximately 6 years old, steering a car along a stretch of Highway 100 in Binh Xuyen District, Vinh Phuc Province, while being encouraged by a young man who claims to be her father.

The act has been deemed highly dangerous and a serious violation of traffic safety regulations, posing risks not only to the child but also to other road users.

Upon investigation, authorities identified the man as Dao Van N., born in 1994 and residing in Binh Xuyen, Vinh Phuc.

He was summoned to provide a statement and admitted to allowing his daughter to drive.

According to the law, allowing a person who does not meet driving eligibility requirements to operate a vehicle is a serious offense, punishable by a fine ranging from $1,170 to $1,250 (28-30 million VND).
