Ahead of the start of the tournament travel firms are offering package tours which leave from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho to Thailand and last for between two and five days, with prices approximately VND7.9 million for each person.
Vietravel has put tours on sale which costs VND7.9 million per person and departures from Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho, with the tour leaving from Hanoi priced at VND8.5 million per person.
In addition, Saigontourist is offering trips which last for five days and four nights and leave from Ho Chi Minh City with prices between VND9.499 million and VND9.999 million.
For the final group match between Vietnam’s U23s and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea U23s (DPRK) on January 16, the company is putting on another four-day trip to Thailand which departs from Can Tho on January 14 with tickets costing VND8.6 million.
A number of other travel agencies such as Tay Bac and PYS are organising tours to watch the match between Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on January 10, with flights on Vietjet Air and trips lasting for five days and four nights between January 8 to January 12, tickets are priced at VND8.9 million.
Other tour operators are holding day tours which last for between four and six days and depart from Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, Hue, and Quang Tri to Thailand, at a cost of VND5.3 million.
Thailand is scheduled to host the upcoming AFC U23 Championship 2020 finals between January 8 and 26.
Vietnam’s U23s have been placed in Group D alongside Jordan, the UAE, and the DPRK.
The U23 side are due to play fixtures against the UAE, Jordan, and the DPRK on January 10, January 13, and January 16, respectively.
