Specifically, Facebook blocked and removed more than 224 articles with false information, and those against the Party, the state, brands, individuals, and organisations, fulfilling 90 per cent of the MIC’s demands.

Google removed more than 1,000 offending videos on YouTube, or 91 per cent of the requested total. TikTok removed 19 links that violated the regulations with false information and content, again reaching 90 per cent of the requirement.

At the event, Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen, deputy head of the Authority of Broadcasting, Television, and Electronic Information, said, "Authorised agencies are continuing to investigate the wrongdoings of TikTok. The official results will be announced soon as they become available."

The MIC will continue to work closely with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to manage the circulation of cross-border cultural products, especially those that contain content or images that infringe on Vietnam's sovereignty in any unacceptable ways.
