On the evening of June 22, the Organizing Committee of Miss World Vietnam held a press conference to present the sash for the Miss World 2024 contest to Huynh Tran Y Nhi and announced the schedule for the Mr World Vietnam 2024 contest.

Y Nhi received the sash representing Vietnam in the 72nd Miss World contest from Krystyna Pyszková, the reigning Miss World.
During the event, the beauty from Binh Dinh spoke in English, demonstrating her efforts to prepare for international beauty contests. However, her emotions caused her to lose composure, resulting in a trembling and weak voice.
“Being able to represent Vietnam at the 72nd Miss World is the greatest honor I have had in my life. I would like to thank my parents and the Miss World Vietnam organization for always being there through the ups and downs, believing in me and giving me the opportunity to continue writing the journey of Vietnamese beauty on the world map.
I would also like to thank the audience for their love and support throughout the past time. I will try my best in the contest, hoping everyone will continue to follow my upcoming projects," Miss World Vietnam Y Nhi emotionally shared.

The event also marked the first "debut" of Mr World Vietnam 2024 contestants, who gathered in Ho Chi Minh City after officially entering the common house a few days ago.
The Mr World Vietnam 2024 contest will run from June 20 to July 13, featuring numerous exciting activities across various provinces and cities. Contestants will participate in competitions such as the Head to Head Challenge, Talent competition, Charity Project, Fashion Show, and more.

The winner will represent Vietnam at Mr World 2024 in September. The Mr World Vietnam competition will closely follow the format of the international competition.
According to the Organizing Committee, Mr World 2024 in Vietnam will take place over 18 days, from September 12 to September 29, with activities including Talent King, Head to Head Challenge, Sports King, Top Model, and Body Painting. The contest is expected to visit locations such as Phan Thiet City, Vung Tau City, and Nam Cat Tien National Park.
