The shows depicts a narrative of the area’s heroic past.
On March 13, 1954, the Vietnamese revolutionary army launched its first attack against the French colonialists’ heavily fortified base at Dien Bien Phu, starting a 56-day historic campaign whose ultimate victory directly led to the signing of the Geneva Accords on ending the war and restoring peace in Indochina.
The drone light show also expresses the country’s heartfelt gratitude to the great president Ho Chi Minh and legendary general Vo Nguyen Giap, as well as many officers, soldiers, volunteers, and people who fought bravely and laid down their lives during the Dien Bien Phu campaign, leading to the final glorious victory over French colonialism on May 7, 1954.
