VietNamNet Bridge – The super-motorcycles worth tens of thousands of US dollars of the mobile police force (Police 113) of the southern province of Dong Nai are the vehicles that were liquidated from the confiscated vehicles, a police official said.

On May 15, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Bien - Deputy Head of the Police 113 force of Dong Nai said the three specialized motorcycles including two Yamaha R6 and one Honda CBR 1000 -- that recently stirred up the public were allocated to Dong Nai Police 113 over one month ago by the Dong Nai Police Agency.

Lieutenant Colonel Bien said these vehicles were not bought by state budget. They are the vehicles that were confiscated in violation cases and then liquidated.

After the vehicles were refurbished and upgraded with some specialized functions of the police, they were allocated to the Dong Nai Police 113.

These motorcycles will be used for the prevention of illegal racing in the province and other tasks within the functions of the Police 113 force.

Previously, the public was “overwhelmed” when a photograph of super-motorcycles of the Dong Nai Police 113 was posted on an online forum.

These are the latest special motors that Dong Nai Police 113 was equipped with maximum speed from 150 to 228km / h, the total capacity from 599cc to 998cc with the ability to accelerate from 0km / h to 100km on / h in just 5 seconds.

The total reference value of the three specialized motorcycles is about VND1.5 billion ($72,000).
