At the meeting on the prevention of crime, social order and safety in Hai Phong on January 6, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that the crime situation is more complex; many criminal cases have cunning tricks; many robbery cases shocked the country.

"This is the concern of the whole Party and people. People always want a peaceful life, peace of mind to do business. We have sufficient forces to ensure the requirements of the people? The entire political system is in the fight against crime. Combating crime is not the task of the police force only but we have to mobilize the strength of the whole population," said Phuc.

Phuc said it must be accountable to the head of the Party committees, local authorities and the police. "If we neglect, are subjective, and off our guard, the crime will increase immediately. Where the crime increases, the chief police officer must be transferred," he stressed.

Report on the situation of crime, Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Deputy Minister of Public Security, said that every day there are more than 100 criminal cases, including 5-10 robberies and three murders. The country has about 190 criminal gangs with over 1,000 objects, many gangs using weapons, military weapons and homemade guns...

The Deputy Prime Minister said the Tien Lang case caused serious consequences and the governments at all levels need to draw a lot of experience from it.

"Mr. Vuong has to hear the report on the entire case again to handle it properly and strictly to the law. Do not let this incident affect the development. From this the administration needs to draw lessons in learning rural security situation and thoughts of the people," Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc asked.
