The Binh Dinh Economic Zone Authority has just issued an investment registration certificate to Mascot International A/S, headquartered in Denmark, for a textile production and processing facility.
The project also includes warehousing and a quality control center for raw materials and accessories.
Located on more than 9.8 hectares of land in the Becamex Binh Dinh Industrial Park, part of the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone (Canh Vinh commune, Van Canh district), the project represents a total investment of over VND 1,290 billion, equivalent to USD 52 million.
According to the provincial Economic Zone Authority, once operational, the factory will specialize in garment production and processing, warehousing services, and quality inspection of raw materials. The project is also granted rights for export, import, wholesale distribution, and technical analysis services.
The facility is expected to produce and process 5 million garments annually, with projected revenue of USD 51.3 million per year when operating at full capacity over the next decade.
Additionally, the warehouse and quality control center, covering 16,000 square meters, is expected to generate USD 2.4 million in annual revenue.
The factory is also forecast to earn about USD 400,000 annually from its export, import, and wholesale distribution rights, and USD 2 million from technical inspection and analysis services.
According to the Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee, since the beginning of this year, the province has attracted 31 new investment projects with a combined registered capital of over VND 12.195 trillion (approximately USD 492 million), including 27 domestic and 4 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects totaling around USD 23 million.
