The pedestrian street, running from the iconic Dragon Bridge to the Tran Thi Ly Bridge, will open daily from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
At the Nguyen Van Troi Bridge in the nearby area, Danang will organize a number of activities such as lighting decorations, art exhibitions and displays, and stages for performing traditional music and street dance.
The pilot program has two phases, with phase 1 scheduled for 2024, and phase 2 from 2025 to 2028.
Built in 1960, the 513-meter Nguyen Van Troi Bridge is the first bridge to cross over the Han River. It is currently a popular tourist attraction in Danang City.
The efforts are aimed to boost night-time economy and increase visitors to Danang during the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday and other occasions all year round.
