The village, with a history of 500 years, was recognized as a national monument in 2009.
At present, the village is home to 117 traditional houses that are comprehensively designed with three compartments and two wings. Among them, there are about 30 ancient garden houses, which are more than one hundred years old, and 12 of them have been recognized as national monuments.
Phuoc Tich is renowned for its pottery-making craft. In particular, Phuoc Tich’s clay pots were once used to cook rice for kings and royal families in the former imperial capital of Hue.
