The Da Nang city Department of Tourism has unveiled the 2025 tourism stimulus programme, themed "Enjoy Da Nang 2025 – Diverse Experience," featuring a wide range of events and incentives aimed at attracting visitors.

The programme consists of two key initiatives: "Enjoy Da Nang 2025 – Diverse Experience" – offering service discounts and gifts for all tourist markets, running throughout 2025, and "I Love Da Nang" – designed to encourage international tourists to return to the central coastal city, Truong Thi Hong Hanh, the department’s director said at a press conference on March 4.

Visitors can look forward to a variety of unique experiences, including the Quan The Am (Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva) festival and a series of celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of Da Nang’s Liberation. These festivities will feature spectacular fireworks displays, special art performances, the "Da Nang: Past and Present" exhibition, the Da Nang Open Traditional Boat Race 2025 – VTV8 Cup, as well as exciting paragliding and hot air balloon shows.

More than 200 tourism businesses in Da Nang have joined the initiative, offering over 30,000 free or discounted vouchers (with discounts ranging from 20% to 50%) for attractions, performances, accommodations, transportation, and dining.

This year, Da Nang aims to welcome 11.9 million visitors, including 4.8 million foreigners, up 10% and 17% year-on-year, respectively. The city also targets a total tourism revenue of over 36 trillion VND (1.4 billion USD) from accommodations, dining, and travel services./.VNA
