VietNamNet Bridge – When an aircraft of Vietnam Airlines landed, the captain of a flight serving team picked up a wallet with about VND250 million ($11,000) inside. He returned the money to the passenger who lost the wallet.

On June 18, the Da Nang Airport Commercial Enterprise awarded a medal and a VND500,000 ($25) bonus to its employee - Mr. Tran Hoa Binh, 39.

Binh was the captain of the flight serving team for Vietnam Airlines flight 1326 from HCM City to Da Nang International Airport at 7.30pm on June 14.

When cleaning the plane, he found a wallet with $10,000, VND25 million and personal documents with the name Pham Huu Phu (268 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City).

"Picking up the wallet on the plane, I'm happy because the assets will be returned to the right passenger," Binh said. He contacted the passenger named Phu and handed over the lost assets to this man.

The passenger, Phu, realized that he forgot his wallet on the aircraft after leaving the plane.

Binh began working at the Da Nang Airport in 1994. During the 2013 Lunar New Year Binh repeatedly picked up assets of passengers and returned the property to them. About 3 years ago, he also returned a passenger a wallet with $5,000 and VND50 million.
