The 300km journey starts from the central city of Hue’s local villages and continues on to Lang Co, a small town in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue for an overnight stay. After the first day’s warm-up, the trip goes uphill as participants climb up the challenging yet beautiful Hai Van Pass – a mountain road that was described by the king of highways, Jeremy Clarkson, as “a deserted ribbon of perfection - one of the best coast roads in the world”. From there, riders will enjoy an extraordinary view over Danang and ride along the scenic coastal roads.

The final stretch of the trip is past the UNESCO-listed My Son Sanctuary before reaching the finish line in the ancient town of Hoi An. The town’s ceremonial mystery will welcome riders at the finish line where team celebrations will replace sore legs and sun-burned necks with a real sense of achievement.

The registration fee is US$560, inclusive of all costs for the ride (subject to change if applicable). Furthermore, riders are asked to get their network behind them and donate a minimum of US$500 which will be used to directly support the children at SCC.

The money raised will help SCC achieve its vision to eliminate poverty through education - helping to provide educational opportunities and life changes for disadvantaged children.

This year SCC has built and opened a new school for 320 children in the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh from the money that the CCA riders raised.

For registrations, contact CCA’s Team Leader, Tom Duncan at [email protected] or cell: 0902 845 859, or Ms. Nguyen of SCC at [email protected] Tel: (08) 3930 3502 ext.107.
