The "Net Viet Nam – Gen Z’s Journey to Villages" project showcases the younger generation's efforts to preserve, develop, and promote the nation’s cultural values.

Over the past five years, the project has created hundreds of videos, serving as a “living museum” that authentically captures traditional craft villages, folk arts, and the essence of Vietnamese cuisine.

This initiative underscores that Gen Z is not only inheriting these priceless cultural assets but also revitalizing and sharing them with future generations.

Pham Thi Hanh Chi, the founder and producer of "Net Viet Nam," explains that her passion for Vietnamese culture stems from her family’s deep-rooted traditions and customs.

She recalls being troubled by the diminishing prominence of Vietnam's cultural heritage in the face of globalization.

“I often wondered about the future of Vietnamese culture amid the rapid changes of our time. Would it fade away or thrive under a new guise? This concern motivated me to dedicate my efforts to preserving our nation’s heritage. 'Net Viet Nam' is the manifestation of that love and concern,” Hanh Chi shared.

The project employs a modern and experiential approach to engage younger audiences, with three main series:

Gen Z Goes to Villages: This series focuses on traditional craft villages at risk of disappearing, connecting their heritage with the younger generation.

Gen Z and the Flavors of Vietnam: Exploring the history of Vietnamese cuisine, the series delves into regional dishes, showcasing preparation methods and the cultural stories behind them.

Gen Z and Vietnamese Heritage: Offering a fresh perspective on folk arts like chèo, tuồng, folk dance, and traditional music.

Through these creative initiatives, "Net Viet Nam" highlights Gen Z as a generation deeply invested in preserving their cultural roots.

The project collaborates with influential youth figures, such as TikToker Quynh Giao (known as Giao Cun), who serves as the project's media ambassador, further bridging the gap between heritage and modern audiences.

"Net Viet Nam" serves as a testament to the enduring spirit of Vietnamese culture, demonstrating that even amid globalization, the younger generation remains committed to safeguarding their national identity.
