The concert also presents conductor Koo Chun from the National Chorus of Korea and Crossover Soprano singer Lim Ji Eun.

It will take to the stage a confusion of a variety of choral pieces – classical music with Handel’s Hallelujah, pop with Obladi Oblada by the Beatles, Asian folk music with Arirang, Christmas medley singing in a cappella style and Vietnamese folk songs.

About 80 underprivileged children are scheduled to perform at the concert.

The event is hosted by the Miracle Choir and Orchestra initiated by the artist couple – tenor and choir conductor Park Sung Min and pianist Trang Trinh – in 2013.

It aims to connect the disadvantaged children with the community through singing, Trang Trinh said, hoping that music would nurture the children into good citizens in the future.

In addition, the concert looks to raise fund for the social educational project “Miracle Choir and Orchestra”, a musical programme teaching music for underprivileged children in Hanoi.
