According to reports and opinions presented at the seminar, over the years, the technical reconnaissance force of the Coast Guard has invested in modern technical equipment to serve the task of collecting information, learning the situation of the related waters and areas.

The technical reconnaissance force of the Coast Guard has overcome difficulties, deployed forces and means in accordance with the practical situation and its tasks; maintained the regular training, coaching and fostering activities; well-coordinated, regularly exchanged and coordinated with internal and external forces inside and outside the army to learn the situation at sea; promptly advised and proposed suggestions to leaders at all levels to grasp and effectively handle situations at sea.
Attendants also pointed out a number of difficulties and shortcomings of the current status of the technical reconnaissance force of the Coast Guard to overcome in the future.
Major General Tran Van Nam highly appreciated the comments and suggestions presented at the seminar. The Deputy Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard emphasized: In order to meet the requirements of the new situation, affirming its role as a core force in grasping the situation in the East Sea, the technical reconnaissance force needs to raise potentials in terms of staff organization, force, equipment, expansion of space, depth of reconnaissance with different types; improve the ability to coordinate, share and coordinate information, in which enhancing human potential is a key issue; focus on synchronous implementation of solutions for building and developing high quality human resources for the technical reconnaissance force; improve the quality of information collection, training, specialized training, fostering, research, news processing...
This seminar also collected comments from relevant agencies and units, through which the High Command of the Coast Guard can assess the situation, the results achieved in the technical reconnaissance force’s operation, thereby proposing solutions to improve the effectiveness of the technical reconnaissance force in the face of complicated developments in the East Sea and the development of the industrial revolution 4.0 in the current period.
