VietNamNet Bridge – Acrobats from the world-famous Cirque du Soleil will take part in a lavish parade and musical gala at HCM City to count down to the New Year.

Singer Ho Ngoc Ha will perform at the count down to the New Year concert at the Phu My Hung Residence Area in District 7.

The acrobats will be among more than 100 foreign and Vietnamese artistes performing at the event, which will take place at the Ban Nguyet Lake area within the Phu My Hung Residence Area in District 7.

British DJ Azam, who has stirred up the atmosphere in several dance halls in Europe; leading Romanian singer Andreea D; and a group of Austrian percussionists will be the key artistes at the event.

Along with the international artists, popular Vietnamese entertainers, including popular songstress Ho Ngoc Ha and young singers Ha Anh Tuan, Minh Hang, and Bao Anh will add variety to the show.

Moreover, through a video clip specially produced for the event, Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren, who is in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list, will send his New Year wishes to Vietnamese audiences.

The countdown to the New Year will also include a stunning parade that will feature five floats symbolising five continents. Accompanied by 100 performers who will present passionate Latin dances, the parade is expected to be a highlight of the event.

A spectacular water show with special light effects will offer the audience a memorable experience.

Titled Tung Bung Mua Le Hoi (Enthusiastic Festive Season), the event, which will be sponsored by Dutch brewer Heineken, will start at 8pm on December 31.
