The Chinese people in HCM City held a parade on February 22 to mark their Lantern Festival which falls on the 15th of the first lunar month.

On Lang Pagoda, was built in the 17th century by Chinese immigrants from Quanzhou in Fujian province. The nearly 300-year old pagoda is now a sacred place of worship for the Chinese community in HCM City’s Cho Lon area.

 VietNamNet Bridge – Saigon of 150 years ago was lively in photos by French photographer Emile Gsell. During his visits to this land in the years 1860-1880, Gsell used his camera to record the changing life is this bustling city.
