The café is particularly enchanting at the end of May when the rice ripens to a golden hue, ready for harvest. By the end of October, after the second harvest of the year, farmers flood the fields, transforming the landscape into a reflective water wonderland. On weekdays, the café attracts a steady stream of visitors, drawn by the cool, tranquil setting. People travel from nearby provinces like Hoa Binh and Hung Yen, as well as from Hanoi’s city center, to experience the unique atmosphere.
Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, a young social media content creator, expressed her admiration for the café’s design. "I’ve visited many coffee shops, but the ambiance here is exceptional. It’s incredibly peaceful, and the sunsets are breathtaking," she shared.
The open design allows guests to touch the ripened rice stalks from any spot in the café. The rice is cultivated using organic methods, ensuring a healthy, sustainable environment.
Despite lacking air conditioning, the café remains cool and comfortable thanks to the natural breezes flowing through the open fields.
According to the owner, this is the third rice harvest season since the café began operations.
The "million-dollar view" over the rice fields has become a favored spot for visitors seeking the perfect photo.
Local residents like Hao and Quang from Phung Chau, Chuong My district, often bring their families and camera tripods to capture memories in this picturesque setting.
The café’s owner, Pham Ngoc Tram Anh, was inspired to create this unique spot after a serendipitous bike ride with her family, during which they were captivated by the beautiful sunset. She envisioned a place where people could pause, relax, and immerse themselves in nature. "From the initial idea to the completion of the café, it took just one month. It quickly garnered support and became a beloved spot for many," Tram Anh explained.
As the sun sets, casting a golden glow over the fields, the café transforms into a magical, serene retreat. This rare and beautiful phenomenon adds to the allure, making it a must-visit destination for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts alike.
