The Cao Bang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated the authorities of districts and cities in Cao Bang province to check the current status of 4G, 5G networks, and propose locations where free wifi services are available for locals and tourists.

Implementing the direction of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee on consultation in adjusting and supplementing tourism digital transformation tasks in Cao Bang province’s digital transformation project to 2025, with a vision to 2030, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism The has coordinated with the Department of Information and Communications and related units to check more than 90 relics, heritage sites, and tourist attractions.

At these locations, telecommunications groups like Viettel, Vinaphone, and Mobifone have invested in 4G, 5G and wifi networks to serve people and tourists. The telecom service quality basically meets the needs of customers, except for some remote and sparsely populated areas that still do not have phone signal or have weak signal. In addition to Kim Dong Walking Street in Cao Bang city, most tourist areas in Cao Bang do not have wifi network coverage to serve tourists.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated with relevant districts and cities to inspect the current status of 4G, 5G and mobile networks and proposed locations, particularly tourist sites, where free wifi services are provided.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has also cooperated with the Department of Information and Communications and relevant agencies to review, synthesize, and advise on adjustments and supplements to the digital transformation tasks in the tourism sector under Cao Bang Province’s Digital Transformation Project to 2025, with a vision to 2030.
