The document was penned on the sidelines of the Singapore Airshow 2024 event which is getting underway in Singapore from February 20 to 25.
Johnathan Hanh Nguyen, chairman of the Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG), who is also an investor at Cam Ranh International Airport, emphasised the partnership has been a big step forward in the field of aviation and tourism, thereby bringing huge benefits to both countries.
"Amid the tourism market reopening after COVID-19-pandeimc, the partnership has been a positive sign for tourism recovery in Vietnam while demonstrating the spirit of close cooperation among countries in the region," he added.
With the support of reputable financial partners such as Legacy Infrastructure Company and Changi Airport, Cam Ranh International Airport is expected to see remarkable changes in management and operations to ensure it falls in line with international standards.
In relation to its long-term development plan, the airport is expected to increase its service capacity from 6.8 million to between eight million and 10 million passengers each year.
Changi International Airport has been ranked among the best airports in the world by Skytrax for the past 12 consecutive years and has won more than 670 awards for continuously achieving perfect airport service quality, passenger experience, and safety standards.
A representative from Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company said the management and operation experiences of Changi airport will be applied at Cam Ranh airport in the near future.
