VietNamNet Bridge – Buriram United FC’s Vice President, Karuna Chidchob has announced that Thailand’s Buriram United FC is set to have a friendly match with Vietnam’s national team in early 2016 before entering a new football season.

The visit to Vietnam is a part of Buriram United FC’s plans. The football club hopes to become the most well-known club in Southeast Asia. The team decided to spend time in Vietnam where football lovers in the region are concentrated, said Karuna Chidchob.
Buriram United is a professional football club based in Buriram, Thailand. The club has played at the top level of Thai football for the majority of their existence, and are currently competing in the Thai Premier League.
At the start of the 2012 season, the club was renamed Buriram United Football Club. In the first match of the group stages in the 2012 AFC Champions League, Buriram beat the 2011 J-League champion, Kashiwa Reysol, 3–2 and became "the first Thai and Southeast Asian club" which scored victory against the J-League club in ACL since starting the Champions League system in 2003.
