With the approval of the Government, Dak Lak province will organize the 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2023 with the theme "Buon Ma Thuot - Destination of the world’s coffee". The event will take place on March 10-14, 2023 in the city of Buon Ma Thuot and some localities in Dak Lak province.

The 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival will feature the following activities, such as: Video clip competition introducing Buon Ma Thuot coffee; performing the musical Dam San's Desire; a specialized coffee exhibition fair; the Vietnam Specialty Coffee Competition 2023; and a free coffee day.

The festival will also include experiential tours, contests such as farmers’ competition, crafting handicraft products from coffee trees; exhibitions; and Dak Lak Ornamental Biology competition.

On the sideline of the festival will be investment promotion conferences; international trade connection conference; ministerial-level seminar on coffee industry...

The Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival will bring visitors unique experiences during their journey to discover the Central Highlands culture in general and Buon Ma Thuot tourism in particular.

The festival aims to promote the Buon Ma Thuot coffee brand, develop Vietnamese specialty coffee to gradually turn Buon Ma Thuot into a destination of the world’s coffee, contributing to improving the value and position of Vietnamese coffee in the world market, enhancing the position of Vietnamese coffee beans, honoring the silent contributions of coffee growers.

The Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival used to be held every 2 years. However, after the 7th time in 2019, due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the 8th festival will be held in 2023.
