VietNamNet Bridge  - By nearly 1pm on August 8, the police finished the scene examination and took the body of a female British tourist to the morgue.

At 8am on Thursday, August 8, many people smelled stench from a motel located in the alley 14 on Do Quang Dau Street, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1, HCM City, so they notified the landlord to make a check.

When the innkeeper and staff broke the door of a room on the second floor, they discovered the female tourist named Jay Julia Anne, born 1970, dead on the bed, in the decomposing stage.

The police force immediately appeared to block the scene and investigate the cause of the incident. Through the initial inspection, they found no external forces on the female tourist.

According to the innkeeper, Ms. Jay Julia Anne hired a room here from January 2013.
