Jordan Goncalves, a judge for the Mr. World 2024 competition, stands out with his handsome appearance and muscular physique.

Goncalves shared that he is looking for a "Mr. World" who can express his unique qualities through appearance, personality, or talent. He also had specific advice for Vietnamese contestants aiming to win male pageant titles, encouraging them to focus on self-improvement and developing a unique personal style. In addition, he emphasized the importance of honing communication and language skills.

“A Vietnamese Mr. World needs to improve public speaking skills, have a deep understanding of global issues, and be connected with the world around him,” he added.

Born in 1994, Jordan Goncalves is of Brazilian and Italian descent. With his film-star looks, he embodies a blend of Latin American passion and European elegance. Few may know that he has lived and worked in Ho Chi Minh City for nearly nine years, becoming a familiar face in Vietnamese showbiz.

Jordan’s special connection with Vietnam began during a trip in 2015. The warmth and friendliness of the Vietnamese people made him feel at home.

Afterward, he decided to move to Ho Chi Minh City to pursue career opportunities. “A three-month vacation turned into an amazing eight years. I feel like I was born here. I truly consider myself Vietnamese at heart!” he expressed.

Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, Jordan added Vietnamese to his language skills after nearly nine years in the country. Considering Vietnam his second home, he adopted the Vietnamese name “Dan” to better connect with people.

Jordan’s involvement in music videos has also given him a chance to expand his circle of friends among Vietnamese artists and learn more about local culture.

Over the past decade in Vietnam, he has adapted smoothly, thanks in part to global internet access. While he initially struggled with spicy food and adjusting to traffic, he quickly integrated into life in Vietnam.

Recently, Jordan has remained active in Vietnamese showbiz. The dashing supermodel serves as a “Friend of the House” for several international fashion brands in Vietnam, representing health, sports, automobiles, and men’s accessories.

He is also a familiar face at fashion events such as Asia Kids Fashion Week, Men’s Night, and Extra Men Show. In addition, he is involved in sports and fitness activities and coaches a youth soccer team.
