VietNamNet Bridge – While hiding himself from guards in a bank, a thief overslept and was arrested.

Nguyen Huu Hai, 28, a resident of Phan Thiet City, with intention to steal property of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Phan Thiet Branch - disguised as a client to enter the bank in the afternoon of June 21.

When the bank was about to close, Hai hid himself in a corner waiting for the nightfall to perform the theft.

At about 12am on June 22, while searching for cash in the accounting department, the alarm sounded. Hai rushed to the 2nd floor of the building and climbed to the balcony to hide. Being exhausted, the thief overslept.

In the early morning, the guards detected Hai sleeping in the balcony. They seized the thief and handed over to the police.
