The road connecting National Highway 19 to the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial, Urban, and Service Complex, stretching nearly 20 kilometers through vast forested mountainous areas, has been inaugurated.

On the afternoon of March 27, the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province held an inauguration ceremony for the new road, which had a total investment of over 1.17 trillion VND (approximately 49 million USD).
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung emphasized that the road not only marks the completion of a modern transportation project but also stands as a vivid symbol of 50 years of reconstruction and development in Binh Dinh after liberation.
The Deputy Prime Minister urged local authorities, project investors, and management units to implement effective management and maintenance practices to maximize the investment value of the project.
Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee, noted that the road stretches approximately 19.5 kilometers and is designed to meet Grade III plain road standards.
It features two lanes for motor vehicles and two lanes for rudimentary vehicles, passing through An Nhon Town, Tay Son District, and Van Canh District.

The road is equipped with seven pre-stressed reinforced concrete bridges, drainage systems, traffic safety features, and synchronized, modern lighting systems.
The new route significantly shortens the distance from the intersection of National Highway 19 (Km27+250) and Provincial Road 638 (Km120+825) in Nhon Tan Commune, An Nhon Town, to the center of the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial, Urban, and Service Complex - from 31.5 kilometers down to 16.5 kilometers.
The road is expected to enhance transport infrastructure, facilitate goods trade between the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Complex, the Central Highlands provinces, and Quy Nhon Port, and ensure security and defense for the western localities of Binh Dinh Province.
According to Vice Chairman Hoang, construction of the project commenced in August 2023 and was originally scheduled for completion within 24 months. However, the road was substantially completed in just 19 months, ahead of schedule by five months.
In addition to the road project, Binh Dinh Province also inaugurated the Dinh River flood drainage system on the same day, with a total investment of 602 billion VND (approximately 25 million USD).
Construction costs amounted to 316 billion VND (approximately 13 million USD), while compensation and site clearance accounted for 286 billion VND (approximately 12 million USD).
The project broke ground in March 2022 and was put into operation in December 2024, seven months ahead of schedule.
