The hunt starts this month for the first generation of international VJs of Viet Nam.
Young music lovers who would like to become the first international Vietnamese VJ and be a part of the hottest music trends, in and out of Viet Nam, are welcomed to join the campaign.
Billboard Viet Nam first made its appearance at LIGHTS 2018 New Years Eve Countdown HCM City, and this triggered the music community and media’s curiosity and excitement.
To become the first generation VJ of Billboard Viet Nam, you need to pass three rounds of selection, including online casting, on-ground challenges and a judges’ audition, and a training course and online voting.
After this round, the chosen candidates will proceed to the final round of the hunt. They will join a training course with top local and international VJs and music experts.
Throughout the course, the candidates will be honed and trained with the must-have skills of an international VJ, including thorough musical knowledge, using language, improvising in different situations, and acting in front of a camera.
In addition, the VJs will have a chance to develop artistically with soft-skill training, including performing arts, fashion style, building a brand image, and social media skills.
The result of this round will be decided based on the judges’ opinions and online voting from the audience, and will be announced on the official website/Facebook of Billboard Viet Nam.
Round 1 of the hunt is still receiving applications from now until the end of August.
