On May 20, Hau Giang Province’s Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization launched the "Emotional Mailbox" model at Dong Phuoc A Secondary School in Chau Thanh district. This is a provincial-level model that the organization piloted in Chau Thanh District.

The model will be implemented from May 2023 at 21 primary and secondary schools in Chau Thanh district (100%). Students can write their feelings, thoughts, wishes, suggestions, and recommendations and send them to the mailbox.

The implementation of the "Emotional Mailbox" model demonstrates the interest, care, and education of children of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer organizations, contributing to the implementation of the Children's Law 2016; to promote the role of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer organizations in protecting, caring for, and creating a safe and healthy learning, playing, and living environment for children.

The model contributes to helping officials in charge of children's work, teachers in charge of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Teams, schools and families promptly grasp the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of students, thereby joining hands to performing well in the care, education and protection of children. Besides, it creates favorable conditions to help children develop their proactive spirit and boldly express their opinions and aspirations.

On that basis, the model helps orient the children to good values, study well, practice hard, become good children, good students, good team members, good children of Uncle Ho, strive to become members of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. It is also a bridge between students and the staff in charge of pioneer teams, schools, families and society in carrying out the work of care, education and protection of children; promoting the role and voice of children in issues related to children.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization of Hau Giang awarded 10 scholarships worth 1 million VND each to students in difficult circumstances who strive to study well in Chau Thanh district.
