The event will attract cyclists from 12 teams across the country, who will compete in seven stages over 840km through 11 Mekong Delta localities.
The six-day annual event, which offers a total prize of VND250 million (US$11,300), will end on January 16.
The event will be jointly organised by the Viet Nam Cycling and Motor Sport Federation, Ben Tre department of culture, sports and tourism and Ben Tre Television.
