VietNamNet Bridge - 23 years old, handsome, playing in a number of films, a designer of a fashion company, Hong Loi is also an energetic swimmer.

Growing up in the Peace Village for disadvantaged children in HCM City, Nguyen Hong Loi knows better than anyone else about his loss as a disable person. But he does not feel boredom or rely on others, but he takes disability as motivation in his life. Through daily activities, Loi found his forte is drawing and swimming.

In 2010, he won one gold medal and two silver medals of the men’s 100m, 200m and 400m freestyle events at the national swimming championships for the disable. Just one year later, he won three gold medals in the men’s 100m, 200m and 400m freestyle events.

This year, Loi also competes at the National Disability Sports Tournament, which opened on November 22 in Ho Chi Minh City.
