The ferry services on the routes of Phu Quoc-Rach Gia, Phu Quoc-Ha Tien, Rach Gia-Nam Du are subject to the suspension to ensure safety of passengers, said Tran Van Tai, director of the Kien Giang Maritime Administration.
Waterway services providers have notified their ticket agents and passengers of the suspension to refund money to those that made earlier bookings or reschedule their trips to the following days if the weather improves.
Last week, bad weather also caused all ferry services on these routes and others to be put on hold from July 11 and 14.

The unexpected weather also disrupted their travel itineraries, outdoor sightseeing tours, and boat tours to the islands using.
