The southern coastal province of Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu will organise its annual tourism promotion programme Dấu Ấn Hè (Summer Impression) from July 8-27, featuring a series of entertainment, music and culinary events held at Hồ Tràm Beach in Xuyên Mộc District.
The programme, themed “The Sound of Summer”, will bring exciting experiences for locals and tourists during the summer season and promote the province as an attractive and safe tourist destination with top-notch resorts and unique tourist offerings, according to the provincial Department of Tourism.
Highlights of the programme include a kite festival with more than 100 kites of all colors and sizes flying on Hồ Tràm Beach, a culinary fair with 50 booths of top fine dining restaurants serving their signature delicacies and drinks, sea sports activities and music performances from July 22-23.
An art show entitled “The Sound of Summer” will be held on July 22 with performances by many popular singers, rappers and artists.
A roundtable discussing measures to lure more tourists to visit the province will be held on July 8.
The province welcomed more than 7 million visitor arrivals in the first half of the year, up 17 per cent year-on-year. — VNS
