Another impressive drone light show entertains visitors in Hanoi
As many as 300 drones lit up the Hanoi sky on March 9 evening in a municipal tourism stimulus programme, capturing the attention of thousands of local people and visitors.
The show is part of the programme called Get on Hanoi – Scent of Tay Ho 2024 to launch the Nhat Tan Tourist Area in Tay Ho district. Despite the chill, thousands converge on Trinh Cong Son Walking Zone in Tay Ho district to watch the show.
The programme brings visitors a new experience, a combination of modernity and an epic story based on the city’s history through a semi-realistic art show and a light show with laser mapping technology.
The highlight of the programme is a light show of hundreds of drones taking off in the night sky, synchronised to music.
The 15-minute show allows visitors to explore famous scenic spots in Hanoi, as well as beautiful stories and images of Vietnamese culture.
According to the Hanoi Department of Tourism, there are currently more than 140 destinations in the city, of which 42 city-level tourist destinations and tourist areas have been recognized.
Nestled with attractive resources, the Nhat Tan Tourist Area has welcomed both domestic and foreign tourists to visit and experience services since 1999.
The recognition of the Nhat Tan Tourist Area gives the area the chance to be developed into a “safe, civilized, friendly destination” and a unique and typical tourism product of Hanoi, according to local authorities.
Tay Ho district will pour more investments into craft villages and creative spaces to promote tourism development and build Tay Ho district into an attractive tourist destination, say local authorities.
This is the second drone light show in Hanoi following the first on New Year’s Eve 2024 with the participation of 2024 drones.
Hanoi attracted 24.72 million visitors, including 4.72 million foreign arrivals in 2023. It aims to receive 27 million visitors, including 5.5 million foreign arrivals in 2024.
