 VietNamNet Bridge – So-called restoration workers have almost destroyed a 500-year-old pagoda on the southern outskirts of Ha Noi.

“Những vì sao đen” (Black Stars) by Vietnamese poet Ngo Tu Lap is one of ten poetry collections shortlisted in the category of PEN Award for Poetry Translation.

 Scientists now have enough reference material to accurately restore the Dam Pagoda, a worshiping place of national importance during the Ly Dynasty (1009-1225) after two years of careful research at the site.
