Nguyen Thi Rong, born in 1988, and Dang Van May, born in 1989, in Nga Nam district in Soc Trang province have one son and twin daughters. All the children are albino.
Despite their different appearance, the children are super cute and clever. Particularly, Dang Thien Kim and Dang My Kim, born in 2019, are very nice. When the twin turned two years old, Rong and May left the eldest son with grandparents and brought the twin to Binh Duong, where they worked at factories.
In Binh Duong, they sent the daughters to a kindergarten. One month later, the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, leaving the couple jobless.
They lived on food sent from the homeland. As they had too much free time, they set up a TikTok channel to find relief. The videos they posted showed the daughters playing, smiling and speaking.
The videos unexpectedly caught special attention from the public, drawing millions of views. The twins have become more and more famous and netizens call them angel twins.
“After watching my videos on TikTok channels, many content creators came to see us and asked for interviews. The owner of a famous YouTube channel came to our guesthouse and filmed our life. When the video appeared on the YouTube channel, my daughters became even more famous,” Rong said.
The YouTube channel owner later created a YouTube channel for the family, and the couple had a new job. The names of the wife and husband are also special: Rong means Dragon, while May means cloud.
However, Rong and May denied the rumor that they have become rich thanks to the twins and the videos about the twins.
Rong admitted that she and her husband are rural people who are not good at communication, and do not know how to create content on YouTube. At first, people watched videos out of curiosity, but later, they gave up following them.
She said she and her husband no longer post videos frequently, and each video can attract about VND11,000-30,000 viewers, and they earn VND10-12 million a month, not billions of dong as reported on social networks.
Two years ago, Rong and May decided to return to their hometown, because May’s mother’s heath worsened and she could no longer take care of their eldest son.
