In its report to the AFF, Sportradar said: "The security system did not detect any form of betting before the match or unusual fluctuations in the online betting market.”

Before its cooperation with AFF, Sportradar was contracted to monitor match-fixing in Indonesia and the Philippines. At the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea, Sportradar informed the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) that there was at least one men’s football game with match-fixing signs.

Before the AFF Cup 2014, AFF announced its cooperation agreement with Sportradar to oversee all 18 matches of the tournament. The Switzerland-based company would use its modern system to detect cheating and notify AFF any form of suspicious signs in 18 games.

Sportradar was founded in 2000 and currently has branches in more than 25 countries. In the 2013-2014 football season, after reviewing 1,500 matches, Sportradar issued a 60-page report indicating 300 match-fixing games, including the English Premier League.

In the first half of 2014, a Sportradar investigation led to 60 arrests related to 19 match-fixing cases or similar offenses in Australia and Hong Kong.

According to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the authorities in Vietnam will continue the investigation.
