Hanoi T&T rally to their second win in this year’s AFC Cup.

Argentinian striker Gonzalo Marronkle handed Hanoi, who lost in the play-offs for the AFC Champions League, the lead after 20 minutes at Kanjuruhan Stadium with a cunning shot that found the far bottom corner of the goal.

The advantage, though, lasted just seven minutes as Hanoi midfielder Duy Khanh let his hand touch the ball inside the area and Cristian Gonzales successfully converted the resulting penalty to restore the parity for Indonesia.

Marronkle converted a penalty of his own 12 minutes before half-time to regain Hanoi’s lead before Nguyen Van Quyet scored their third goal with just over a minute left to play to leave his team unbeaten in Group F following their last month’s 5-1 home win against Maldives’ Maziya Sports & Recreation.

This second consecutive victory has helped Hanoi T&T cement their top spot in Group F with six points. Their final group game is with Malaysia’s Selangor.

Vietnam’s National Super Cup winners, XM The Vissai Ninh Binh will play their second Group G match against Myanmar’s Yangon United at home today.
