In the afternoon of December 25, a 25-seat bus of the Binh Chau Hot Spring - Ho Coc Beach Resort was running at the Nguyen Thi Minh Khai – Cong Quynh intersection, unexpectedly, the trunk opened and a crocodile of nearly two meters long, with four feet tied and the head covered by a sack, fell down to the road.

Vehicles running behind the bus broke hard; many people fled in panic when seeing the crocodile struggling on the road. Traffic police officers immediately brought the animal to the roadside to avoid congestion.

The bus driver said that the crocodile was sick and he was assigned to carry it to the Hoa Ca Crocodile Farm in Thu Duc District for treatment. However the driver could not show related documents.

The local police took the 50-kg crocodile to the police station. Along the way, the animal continuously struggled in the car.

At about 7pm, a representative of the Binh Chau Hot Spring - Ho Coc Beach Resort, the owner of this crocodile, took related documents to the police station to take back the animal.
