The event will take place at the Sun World Da Nang Wonders, 1 Phan Dang Luu Road, Da Nang.

According to the organizers, the event will attract the participation of 30 troupes, including 6 troupes from China, Taiwan (China), Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia and 24 from Vietnam. 

Among them are famous names like Kuantan Builders Lion And Dragon Dance Club (Malaysia), Shenzhen Yanluo Bilintang Dragon &Lion dance Group (China), and Hao Dung Duong (Vietnam).

In addition to the familiar categories, the highlight of this year's event is the performance on water, which is the first time it will be performed in Vietnam.

The teams participating in the category will perform on a large-scale water stage, with 21 iron piles with a height of 1.2-3m, on the west bank of the Han River on the campus of the Sun World Danang Wonders.

Especially, the performance of two Chinese 11-year-old brothers, who won the first prize in the Mekong Cup 2017 in China, promises to be one of the most eye-catching performance.

At the Gala night held on September 2, the audience not only enjoyed the excellent performances of the contestants, but were also treated to a music party, with the appearance of many famous singers such as Dan Truong, Isaac, Jack and K-ICM.

During the festival, Sun World Da Nang Wonders will open for students and Da Nang citizens with  special entrance tickets of VND50,000. The tickets are VND100,000/person for visitors from Quang Nam and Hue.
